What are the benefits of being a member?
You will be linking up with an international group of professionals seeking to promote and explore the role of Language Awareness in research, education, and in the full development of socially aware individuals. In addition, the membership fee includes a subscription to the quarterly journal Language Awareness (the cheapest way to receive the journal). Members pay reduced conference fees at ALA conferences.
How do I join or renew?
Membership fees for 2011 are:
£28 GBP for individuals; £21 GBP for full-time students.
A saving can be made by subscribing for 2011 and 2012 at the combined rate of £50 GBP (£40 GBP for full-time students).
Payment methods:
Use your credit or debit card (choice depending on territory) via the Paypal system
OR
email languageaware@btinternet.com with your name and address asking for an application form in order to pay by sterling cheque or by bank transfer.
Please note that it is no longer possible to pay Association for Language Awareness directly by credit card.
